Are you ready to welcome a new fur companion into your life? Check out our adoption process.

1. Choose Your Furball(s)

   Browse our available cats up for adoption on our site and review their profiles.

2. Submit an Adoption Application

   Fill out the adoption application online and select the furball(s) that interest you or ‘I prefer to be matched’.

3. Virtual Meeting with Your Adoption Counselor + Home Check

   If your application passes the review stage, you will be prompted to schedule a virtual home check with your adoption counselor via Google Meet. This is also a good time for your counselor to answer any questions you may have.

4. Meet + Greet

   If your application to adopt has been approved, you will receive an approval email with a cat adoption guide attached + link to schedule an in-person meet + greet with the furball(s) of your interest.

5. Adoption Day!

   Whether you take your new furball(s) home the same day as the meet + greet or choose a later adoption day, you will sign the adoption agreement and pay the fee on our website. Your adoption counselor will help you complete the agreement and give you updated medical records for your vet. Once everything is done, you're ready to start your journey with your new companion(s). Congratulations! 🎉

Note: Approved applicants must have a valid drivers license present on adoption day for FBOA to copy + finalize the adoption agreement.
